The Storm wanted to validate their unbeaten streak by defeating the only team they haven't beat this year, The Amherstburg Stars. The Storm started strong, playing their pressure game forcing mistakes in the offensive zone. Cale opened the scoring with the only goal in the first by bouncing a shot from behind off the goalies pads.
Amherstburg answered back half way through the second period when they scored on consecutive shifts to go up 2-1. Cole evened things up with a powerplay goal in the last minute of the period and the two teams headed into the third tied at 2.
There was scoring chances had by both teams in the final period when finally Amherstburg scored to go up with 6 minutes left in the game. Another late goal in the final 2 minutes clinched the victory for the Stars.

Nothing for the team to hang their heads about as they played hard and proved they've elevated their game over the past month to that of a contender.
