Organization - ENS Donates to The Amherstburg Community Service
Submitted By Garnet Little on Saturday, December 02, 2017
November 10, 2017 - The holiday season is a festive time of year, but one that often finds many in need.  The Amherstburg Midget Minor A Hockey Team and the Erie North Shore Midget Minor A Hockey Team collaborated off the ice to give to those in need in their communities of Amherstburg, Lasalle, Harrow, and McGregor.

The Amherstburg Community Services looks to receive enough donations to distribute stockings filled with toiletries, socks, gloves and a treat to seniors within the Amherstburg Lasalle Harrow, and McGregor neighborhoods.   Collectively the teams brought in an abundance of goods to provide resources to ensure each of the stockings can be generously filled for the seniors within the two communities.  The teams even reached out to a local school to engage students to create handmade cards to include with the stockings.

The Amherstburg Community Service staff were thrilled with the volume and variety of products that the players and families donated.  Way to go TEAMS!
