week-end reveiw
After a great weekend at International Silver Stick the South Shore Dental Erie Storm Minor Atoms came home to a very busy schedule. The team travelled to Tilbury to play the Chatham Cobras. They started the scoring with two in the first period. In the second period we answered back with a goal from Mckee assisted from Olson and Robinson.

The Cobras kept attacking with multiple attacks netting 3 more goals. The Storm gained momentum in the third with an unassisted goal by Gomes, another by Woolner assisted by Quenneville and Mckee. The Storms last goal was netted by Gomes assisted by Bradfield. The game was capped off with another from the Cobras for a score of 6-4.

Thursday we met Lasalle in Essex with something to prove. The Team came with new found energy. The Storm kept constant pressure on the Sabres. Cole 'Dumo' lit the lamp with assist by Gomes and Riddiford. The celabration was short lived with a goal by Lasalle. Ethan Robinson battled in front of their net and scored with an assist by Heath Mckee. With about five minutes left the Sabres tied it up. Our Defensive team kept the game at a tie 2-2. Jack Ford definately showed the Sabres he came ready to play.

Friday the Storm found themselves in Essex facing off against their division rivals. The Ravens caught us sleeping with a goal right after the face off. The game was a regular ping pong game with action at both ends. We hit every part of the net but the net. The defensive play of Josh Parks, Brendan Jenner, Luca Quenneville, Mckinnon Woolner, and Haden Carrier really kept us in the game. The team showed signs of growth with a lot of nice passes and a good solid forecheck. Essex ended the game with a goal deflected in by one of our teammates ending the game 2-0.

The Storm headed north to Belle river to face an aggressive team. It was good ole grind it out hockey. The Canadiens opened the Scoring with the first goal. 'Dumo' answered back with a rebound goal assisted by Gomes and Riddiford. From then on Belle river kept powering in and scored 4 more. The end of the game found Even Fields charging the net for a goal that was later denied by the officials. Final score 5-1.

The Erie Storm are definately ready for their playdowns in St. Thomas. They are going to practice hard and bring the game that we are all so proud of. Games start Friday in St. Thomas. GO STORM!!!!!
