Comeback Kids!
February 3rd Amherstburg Stars at Harrow Arena.
Cody Cambell
started us off in the 1st, fighting to get the puck from behind A'burg's
net, putting it out front and scoring the goal. Just what we needed to
get the teams spirit going. Ending the 1st with a 1-0 lead.
2nd period the fowards putting lots of pressure on Aburg's goalie with
lots of shots on net. Jackson Champeau sending one of the rebounds home
for our 2nd goal of the night...
Aburg ended up getting a goal making the score 2-1. 3rd period the D fought hard, great goaltending by Marcus Stanley but with so many shots taken on net it was amazing we only had 2 more scored against us, we were down 3-2. Everyone worked hard to keep motivated, Tim was spinning the wheels of steel just to stay focused. With less than a minute to go Zayne Boughazale put in the 3rd for the tie. Every goal was fought hard for and we celebrated a fantastic comeback. Great job boys!!
