The Erie North Shore Storm's third outing of the year produces an additional tic in the win column.

On Sunday afternoon the Erie North Shore Storm travelled to Windsor and took to the ice versus the Riverside club.

At the 6:12 mark of the first period, strong team play led to a Riverside goal, giving them a 1-0 lead.  Coming back out hungry to tie the game, Cale M drove the net on a solid pass from Matteo R to tie the game at 1 a piece.  Feeding off the enthusiasm on the bench, Mikayla A jumped on a loose puck fed to her from Charlie C and buried it in the back of Riversides net to take a 2-1 lead into the 2nd period.

Riverside started the 2nd period with a will to tie the game back up but solid netminding by Colin R kept the puck out of the goal.  At the 10:11 mark of the 2nd period Nate M relayed a pass from Michael H to Cale M.  Cale again found the open spot in the net giving him his 2nd of the game and taking ENS ahead by a score of 3-1.  Then at the 4:53 mark, Nico S found the back of the net on a pass from Cole K and Ty M giving ENS a safety net and a score fo 4-1.  Fighting back hard, Riverside was able to get one back before the period ended and ENS took a 4-2 lead into the third period.

With their confidence restored on a late goal in the 2nd period, Riverside came back out hungry to knot the game and were able to produce their final goal of the game at the 8:26 mark, however one minute later, Cale M scored on a nifty pass from Nate M giving ENS their 5th of the game, and Cale M his third!  With time winding down Ty M was able to bury an insurance goal on an assist from Michael H giving ENS a 6-3 score and their 2nd win of the year.

Strong positional play by the entire team led to a decisive victory over a solid Riverside Rangers team.

Excellent goal tending by both Tommy and Colin kept the puck out of the net and a hat trick by Cale M helped lead the team to another win by Erie North Shore Storm....well done!
