The Erie Storm hosted Essex Ravens Saturday afternoon in Kingsville. With a very evenly matched 1st period, both teams were held scoreless. The second period was hard fought with only one Essex goal, pulling ahead 1-0. Erie kept working but unable to hold the Ravens back, as Essex skated off with a 4-0 win.
On Sunday, our Atom boys were in Lasalle to meet up with the Sabres. With lots of offensive pressure right from the first drop of the puck, Erie couldn't find the back of the net. Lasalle lead with a 1-0 first period. Both teams battling to keep possession of the puck, the second period was scoreless. In the third, Erie managed to net a goal to get momentum going, but wasn't enough to hold back the Sabres as they took a 4-1 win. Keep working boys!
