Three Games this past weekend
First game was Friday night in LaSalle.  Unfortunately Storm couldn't get much going.  LaSalle dominated from beginning to end.  Final score 9-0.

Saturday night we played Riverside at home.  Erie was a completely different team! Riverside wasn't expecting Erie to come at them like they did.

A stellar goaltending performance by Seth Olsen.  He was there for his team the whole game.  Seth had alot of support from his defence as well.  Sophie Coristine stoned Riverside more than once when they broke out on the 2 on 1.  Defensive partners Jake Wilkins and Martin Ash were also a force to be reckoned with as they were crazy quick at getting back and clearing Riverside out of the front of the net.  Oh and then we had Noah Boudreau digging in the defensive zone and holding the other team out along the boards using his body.
Jackson Champeau and Cody Campbell really stepped up with great back checking & making plays for their teammates.  And as always we were thankful for Connor Bishop with his wicked shot to clear the zone.

The final score was 6-1 for Riverside.  The score definitely can't be a reflection of effort put forth by our team as each and everyone of them played hard.

Game 3 was Sunday in Tecumseh.  The effort by the whole team just continued to ramp upward.  Amazing game.... action packed!!  Once again, all four defence played a vital role in this game not allowing Tecumseh too many chances, but when the shots did get on net Connor Scott was there and made lots of amazing saves to keep Erie within reach of the win.

Our forwards really improved their level of play in all aspects.  Karter Brouwer, Charlie Boose and Cameron Carvalho were grinding along the boards. Jackson Champeau, Jesse Brown, Blaze Howson and Cody Campbell all working so hard to set up plays.  Calum Brennan and Connor Bishop using their strength.

Tecumseh scored two goals on us but then early in the 2nd period Jesse Brown scored a beauty unassisted to get Erie on the scoreboard.  From this point onwards it was a goal scoring frenzy for the fans of both teams.  Tecumseh scored another in the 2nd period as well.  Erie went into the 3rd period down 3-1.  The 3rd period action was intense with both teams scoring 3 more goals each.

Erie's second goal was scored by Blaze Howson, assisted by Charlie Boose and Calum Brennan.  With 3 minutes left Calum Brennan scored assisted by Martin Ash.  Then much to the delight of the fans with only 1:44 left in the game Cameron Carvalho scored to tie the game with another assist by Calum Brennan.

Tecumseh then scored two more quick ones and the final score was 6-4 Tecumseh.

Awesome effort Storm!!!!!  Can't wait to see what you all have for us next weekend... Keep up the great work!

GO STORM GO!!!!!
