Atom Minors Advance to Finals of International Silver Stick
In Newmarket, the Minor Atom Storm continue to roll with 2 more wins on Saturday.
Game 4 and Final game of the Round Robin the Storm skated to a 4-3 win over the Michigan representative Blue Water Stars. The Storm built up a 4-0 lead only to see the Stars come back and make a game of it. The Atoms were reminded how no lead is comfortable.
Game 5 Semi Finals the Storm were up against a GTHL representative the Vaughan Rangers. With one of the best showing of the season the Stom skated to 5-2 win. The Storm showed great character and discipline throughout this chippy contest.
The Finals are slated for 8:00 am on Sunday morning vs the Whitby Wildcats.
