Columbus Tourney
This past weekend the Atom Majors travelled to Columbus, OH for tournament. All the teams entered in the tourney were very evenly matched. Our Atoms played very well and ended the tournament with 1 win, 1 loss and 1 tie. Unfortunately, we fell just shy of the final, however it was a great team building weekend for all of them.
The entire team and all the parents, siblings and even some grandparents all went to the Columbus Blue Jackets game vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. The kids had a great time and more importantly had time to bond and just have fun. They were all so cute at the NHL game with their yellow Storm jerseys on and their "mustaches" for Movember. After the game, they all got to meet a few of the Columbus Blue Jacket players including Dalton Prout who grew up and played minor hockey in Kingsville. This was extra special for them.
A special thanks to our coaches for arranging this outing for the team and to Coach Boudreau for arranging the bus to take us to and from the game.
