Food Drive Success
Submitted By Garnet Little on Monday, December 3, 2018
On Saturday December 1st the ENS Bantam AE1 team gathered at the Kingsville Arena and pooled their food drive items from the last month with a tally 1698 items to donate to the local Kingsville Community Food Bank for those in need over the holiday season.

The player that collected the highest number of items was awarded with 2 tickets to the Avalanche vs. Wings game in Detroit on Sunday the 2nd.

The staff were happy to award Aidan Pimentel with the tickets.  Aidan collected a total of 301 items to donate.   After the food was collected and boxed the team attended the Kingsville Breakout rooms for a team building event with the winning team being on Coach Newby’s squad.

The players will return to the Kingsville Community Food Bank on the 5th of January to assist with the boxing of items and dismantling/relocating of existing shelving to allow for new flooring to be installed throughout.   Thanks for everyone's efforts and support, great job by all!
