Juveniles Win Silver Stick Tournament
With a long break from the holidays now over it was time for the men to get back to work starting with the Hespeler Shamrocks at the 2019 Juvenile Silver Stick Tournament.

The men had a slow start with this team but found their legs to pull off a 4-2 win. Game #2 the speed of these men picked up as they took a 8-3 win over King Rebellion. Next up was another face to face with the Woolwich Wildcats in game #3 with the men continuing to set the tone of play with a 6-0 victory. Off to the semi’s, to face Riverside. A strong team for this group of men to face as Riverside made them work hard but Erie comes out on top with a 2-1 win, setting up the men for a Sunday final against Amherstburg.

The puck dropped and away we went. Erie took an early 1-0 lead in the first but Amherstburg came back to tie it up at 1-1. Then Erie gets it’s first power play. 5 seconds into that power play the men take over the lead @ 2-1 and adding another in the second. Now going into the 3rd with a 3-1 lead the team control and speed took over owning the 3rd adding two more for a 5-1 final crowning the men 2019 Juvenile “A” Silver Stick Champs! It was a great weekend of hockey these men played and the coaches and parents couldn’t be more proud!!
