We would like to congratulate our U14 and U16 Travel Teams for winning the TNT Fall Harvest Tournament this past weekend.
The U14 Team went undefeated going 4-0-0 scoring 18 goals and allowing only 3 in round robin play. They squared off against the Home TNT Tornado's in the semi finals and came out on top with a score of 5-1. This lead to a Championship match up with the Caledon Hawks where the Storm were victorious taking home the Championship with a final score of 2-0.
The U16 Team also went undefeated going 2-0-2 scoring 12 goals and shutting the door with 2 goals against in round robin play. Their semi final match was against the North Durham Warriors who they tied 0-0 with in round robin play. With great goal tending , defence and solid play up front the Storm came away with a 2-1 victory moving them to the Championship game. In championship game the team came out flying against the Mississippi Thunder Kings scoring 2 quick goals which proved to be enough as they took the Championship with a final score of 4-0.
