YAHOO! Great game boys!! Ryan Gates was great between the pipes and our team worked hard for a full 3 periods to get their first win of the season. Mitchell McGregor got us on the board on a one timer off of a feed from Evan Stenger. Southpoint tied it up late in the 3rd on a power play but the line of Matt McGregor, Nolin, and Pollard who had been keeping the puck in Southpoints end all game, came out and answered back on the very next shift when Ian Pollard picked up a clearing attempt to carry it in on a breakaway and hammer it past the Southpoint goalie. Logan Mallot was named player of the game for sacrificing his body all night and putting a big hit on the BIGGEST kid on the ice when he was going end-to-end in the last minute, to make sure we didn't give up that win! A great team effort boys and a great way to head into our tounament next weekend.
