Successful Season
Wow, what a season. Congratulations to the boys for finishing first in our Single A division and winning the bye into the 2nd round.
It's been an amazing journey with these kids. To go from pushing them at the beginning of the season into believing they have what it takes, to finishing the year a mere points and a couple of bounces from taking the whole darn thing. The last game of the season was an experience in itself with most of the game dominating in their end and more than doubling them in shots. We won't talk about all the chances that just would not go in. Every kid in that room had tears in his eyes and as a coach it's hard to explain that sometimes you can do everything right and things just don't go your way but this also tells you how far they have come and exactly what their new expectations are and that's pretty cool. MAN ARE WE EVER PROUD TO BE THEIR COACHES. Bring on the tournament and the play downs baby.
