October 1st week-end reveiw
On Saturday, October 1st, after an 11 game winning streak the Erie Storm Minor Atom played a great game against the Essex Ravens. They battled for the puck at both ends of the rink, played great during power plays, with Essex eventually winning 2-0.

Sunday, October 2nd, the Erie Storm Minor Atom played the LaSalle Sabres. After the Sabres 3rd goal, 7:44 left in the 2nd period, Storm down 0-3, the boys never gave up, or gave in. Cole Dumouchelle put the Storm on the scoreboard with 7:18 left in the 2nd. With a great pass from Ethan Robinson and nice stick handling, Shannon Olson put the puck in the back of the net, making it 2-3. Right of the draw Caden Gomes shot it past their goalie, tying up the game 3-3. The Sabres answered back with their own goal, ending the 2nd period with the Storm down 4-3. Four minutes into the 3rd, with a nice setup pass from Cole Dumouchelle, Matt Bradfield scored and tied the game 4-4. The next 10 minutes were intense; an all-out battle for the next goal, 1:23 left in the 3rd Sabres scored ending the game 5-4. The boys played extremely well and even after an upset this weekend the Erie Storm Minor Atom has the resilience to move forward and focus on the games ahead. Go Storm
