Atom Major Busy Weekend
This past weekend was very busy for the Atom Majors. It started Friday night with an away game against Southpoint. The game could have went either way as the play was pretty much equal in both ends. Both teams were hoping to pull off their first win. Our team played hard but came up just shy. The game ended in a loss 5-4.
Saturday our team played another away game against the Windsor Junior Spitfires AA. This was the teams first game this season against a AA team. The entire team really came out to play. Thanks to Seth O our goaltender and our amazing defence Jake W, Sophie C, Martin A, and Noah B for keeping us in the game as we did play much of the game killing penalties. It was a hard fought battle by all. The game ended in a 4-2 loss.
Sunday afternoon we played in Kingsville against Southpoint and pulled off our first much deserved win!!!Congratulations to the entire team! Our goalie Conner S stood his ground in net and gave his team a great effort. A big thanks to all of our forwards, each and every one of them kept the pressure on the entire game. Way to go Connor B, Charlie B, Calum B, Karter B, Jesse B, Cody C, Cameron C, Jackson C and Blaze H. Game won 5-1. Keep up the great effort!
Our next game will be in Michigan at our first tourney of the season.
