Eagles couldn't weather the Storm!
The Storm hosted Tecumseh Eagles for the first of two games this weekend. As Tecumseh started the game off with an early 1-0 lead, our Storm turned on the offensive pressure to answer back with a goal by the end of the first. The second period produced a goal a piece and tied it at 2-2. The boys dug deep and found the back of the net for a third time in what was a gritty third period. They dug in their heels and held Tecumseh off for the rest of the game to secure a 3-2 win.
Tecumseh hosted the Storm on Sunday afternoon for another chance to redeem themselves. With a fairly evenly matched first period, both teams where held scoreless. With fantastic offense and great penalty killing, the boys made it 1-0 Storm by the end of two. Tecumseh tied the game early in the third period, the Storm penalty kill unit held the Eagles down and managed to net another goal. With a nail biting finish our boys secured the win by killing a 6 on 4 for the last minute of the game to keep it 2-1!!! Fantastic play by all Storm players this weekend resulted in two "W"s this weekend. Keep up the great work!!!!!!
