Weekend Storm....
On Saturday, the Minor Atom boys hosted Riverside Rangers. First period action saw a goal a piece with fantastic offense from both sides. With the Storm winning their battles, the second period was scoreless. As Riverside managed to manipulate our defense and score three in the third, Erie regrouped to grab a late period shorthand goal and an even strength goal to end the game with a hard fought 4-3 loss.
On Sunday, Belle River Canadiens hosted the Minor Atom Storm. With Belle River dominating the first period with three early goals, the boys struggled to recover and the Canadiens scored two more in the second making it 5-0. The third period was a little quieter with Belle River scoring one and a Erie breakaway goal ruining a Belle River shutout. Final score 6-1. Join the Erie Minor Atom team on Saturday November 23 as we host Southpoint Capitals at 3:20pm. GO STORM!!!
