Storm Continues their hard work this past weekend....
Saturday the Storm took on the Lasalle Sabres.
Our offence made sure the Sabres felt our presence early, with Troy scoring on an assist from Marshall only a minute and a half into the game.
The second period saw more great action with Ben and Troy both finding the back of the net for our team. Coupled with an impenetrable d-line, by the time the final buzzer sounded both Troy and Ben had a hat trick in their pocket and the Storm had the "W" with a final score of 6-1. Great effort kids!
Sunday we took on the Belle River Canadiens. Last time we met this team we were defeated 8-3. Our kids fought hard from a 2-0 deficit to start the third. Defence shone with all three Storm goals scored by Quinn, Marshall and Ty. Ashton and Nevan both picked up 2 assists. Final score was 4-3 Habs, setting the stage for a rematch next weekend.
