Erie North Shore Storm Peewee Majors Raffle Winner!
The Erie North Shore Storm Peewee Majors held their big fundraiser for the season recently.
The grand prize was every sports lover’s dream – 4 tickets to a Detroit Red Wings game, 4 tickets to a Detroit Lions game, 4 tickets to a Detroit Tigers game, 4 tickets to a Nascar race and to top it all off $500 in cash! The winner would also get to select which regular season games they would like to attend for each event. The draw was held at Harrow arena on Friday January 3 right before the Peewee Major Storm vs LaSalle AA game. The game referee selected the winning ticket from the drum (generously provided on loan by the Harrow Legion) and the lucky winner was announced. Pat Boivin of Essex was the grand prize winner, and as soon as he received the call rushed over to the arena to meet with the team and collect his winnings! Needless to say Pat was thrilled to win such a great prize and could hardly wait to select his games for the coming season! Jim Mucha sold the winning ticket and for the second year in a row holds the title of champion ticket seller for the team! Special thanks to the season ticket holders who generously donated the game tickets for our fundraiser and to Rob Brush for putting it all together, and a great big thank you to all who bought raffle tickets to help support the team!
