The Storm Strike Early and Often to Beat the Eagle at Home
It took a while for the Storm faithful to thaw out after the outdoor game, but the boys showed no signs of being frozen in this one.

Starting from the first shift the boys jumped on the Tecumseh-Shoreline Eagles with Owen Martin grabbing the puck and galloping down the ice to score a nice goal in the first minute of the game. Then it was Zach Hammond scoring on a passing play starting with Tyler Mayer and Alessio Incitti. Incitti scored to make it 3-0, assisted from Grayson Fraumeni and Patrick Nantais, after some terrific work by Declan Bosveld and Cooper Autterson who wore out Tecumseh on the forecheck earlier in that shift. Some penalty trouble led to some good work by Fraumeni who got the puck to Nantais, who put a great move on the goalie and tucked the puck upstairs for a shorthanded goal to make it 4-0. After a pass from Sam Hammel to Thomas Larsen which led to the game being 5-0, Tecumseh was able to make it 5-1, but the team bounced right back with Hammond getting his second of the game, assisted by Owen Irvine. Then it was two "grind it out" goals by Delcan Bosveld who pounced on a rebound from an Incitti shot and then tapped in another after a Fraumeni shot. Tecumseh were able to score two in the last minute of the game on Carter Russell, who was very good in net in this game, leading to a 8-3 final. For his hard work, frequently taking on bigger players along the boards, and being in great places to score, Cooper Autterson won the golden helmet.
