Storm Ground Eagles In Season Opener
The Erie North Shore Storm Minor PeeWee's started their 2016-2017 Bluewater League season by facing off against the Tecumseh Shoreline Eagles Saturday in Kingsville.
In what has become an unsettling trend of late, the Team got off to a sluggish start and Tecumseh took advantage half way through the first period by scoring a powerplay goal.
That lead lasted until the early goings of the second period when Cale banged in two and Nate added a third to give the Storm a 3-1 lead after two periods.
The Storm continued the torrid pace in the third with 2 goals by Conner and singles going to Nate, AJ, and Cale for his hat trick. Tecumseh got a last minute goal but the highlight of the period was Ariana stoning a Tecumseh penalty shot by kicking out the right pad.
Final Score: Storm 8 - Tecumseh 2
