Regular Season Wrap Up

Happy New Year
Whoa....where did December go?
The E.N.S Minor PeeWee's have been playing good hockey the last 6 weeks with the result being a first round bye heading into the Playdowns.

The Storm began December playing in the "AA" Randy Merten/Dan Holland Memorial Tournament in Belle River.
The Team competed hard against the larger centres and were in every game to the end. Despite ending the tournament with a 0-2-2 record it was a great learning experience and morale booster for the team, as they knew they could effectively compete at this level.
The Storm spent the rest of the month on a tear in the Bluewater League winning 6 of their last 8 games of the season to finish second overall in the standings. Included in that stretch were wins against first place Amherstburg and a victory on the last weekend of the season against Essex that earned them a first round bye to start the Playdowns.
The Storm now await the winner of the Essex - Southpoint series to start what is hopefully a long run into the Playdowns.
Stay tuned....
